AN ACT
to prescribe the number of judges for the Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, Court of Appeal and High Court; repeal and replace the Supreme Court and High Court (Number of Judges) Act, 1976; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

Act 9 of 2016.
This Act may be cited as the Superior Courts (Number of Judges) Act.
There shall be 13 judges of the Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice.
3. Constitutional Court judges
There shall be 13 judges of the Constitutional Court, including the President and the Deputy President.
There shall be 19 judges of the Court of Appeal, including the Judge President and the Deputy Judge President.
There shall be 60 judges of the High Court.
The Supreme Court and High Court (Number of Judges) Act, 1976 (Act 22 of 1976), is repealed.
