1. Short title

These Regulations may be cited as the Decimal Currency System (Arrangements) Regulations.

 

2. Interpretation

In these Regulations, “approved conversion scale” means a scale in the form set out in the First Schedule with the same wording and figures in the same order, such wording and figures to be written, typewritten or printed in such a manner as to produce clear and easily distinguishable outlines.

3. Approved conversion scale to be displayed

Every person carrying on a business, trade or profession shall, in every part of the premises used for the purpose of carrying on the business, trade or profession where money is spent or received, conspicuously display an approved conversion scale of not less than the dimensions specified in the Second Schedule.
